Squamous Cell Carcinoma (SCC)
- Summary: Can grow deeper and spread if untreated. Often appears as a scaly red patch, wart-like growth, or ulcer that doesn’t heal.
- Prevention: Protect skin from UV rays, avoid tanning beds, monitor AK lesions.
- Treatment: Surgical excision, Mohs surgery, radiation, or topical chemotherapy for early lesions.
